I can't recommend it enough! Submit a description It's a wonderful Super Nintendo game, and one of the best Kirby games out there. But that's only a minor complaint, given their excellent replay value. Despite being several games combined, they aren't each very long. If I had to find any fault in the game, it would probably be that it's a little short. Different button combinations and directional movements result in separate attacks, making them much more fun and dynamic to use. In most other Kirby games, powers were typically limited to one attack, but here they are much more versatile. Swallowing that sword-wielding bad guy gives Kirby a sword of his own, and chowing down the guy throwing bombs allows Kirby to throw them too. Certain enemies, when swallowed, grant Kirby a special power. There's a timed assault on an enemy airship, and even a space-themed game where you explore multiple worlds.įor those that might not be familiar, Kirby's main method of attack is inhaling and swallowing his enemies. The games themselves are actually quite varied - there's an almost literal remake of the original Gameboy Kirby's Dream Land here, along with a Metroid-esque treasure hunting game in a large labryinth. Naturally, you play as everybody's favorite super-hungry pink powder puff through several mini-adventures. You can inhale certain enemies to copy their abilities to use them in courses, or inhale them and spit 'em back out to destroy other enemies! The gameplay is quite similar to that of Super Mario World, only I'd say this is definitely better for beginners as it's a bit easier and never gets quite as hard as Super Mario World. The gameplay is simple: You start off as Kirby and must complete each course to move onto the next (there's boss fights in between some of the courses). This game can either be a 1 player OR you can set it up with a helper so that you have 2! The helper can also be computer controlled if you don't have someone to co-operate with you. They all pretty much consist of the same gameplay, only different rules apply and different courses are present. I liked the multiple-games-in-one feature. This was actually one of the best ones, if not the best, ever made. I loved this game! I have had it for 12+ years and still enjoy it almost as much as I had when I first got it!
